Lift & slide door profiles
Lift & slide doors lift the sash off its seals with the handle, so very heavy panels slide easily and then lower back onto the seals for tight weather sealing. They are used for wide openings to terraces and views.

What is the difference from a normal sliding door?
A lift & slide sash is lifted off its seals to move and lowered to close, which gives better sealing and handles heavier panels than a standard sliding door.
